Did a training run with Alice today (hi Alice!) . Though it was the longest I've run this season, it was by far the most pleasant

There's something quite satisfying about completing a set distance, like a half marathon. Mostly because you can drop it in conversation casually. (e.g. "Oh yeah, I did a half yesterday to train. No problem. Yeah, that's half of the distance that killed the original runner, but no biggie")
Also, I'm going to miss having company on my everyday runs.
Right now, I am bushed. I think I'm going to go rest my eyes...
